My name is Laura Connell.  I was born and raised in Valdosta, GA (Go Cats!).    I received my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008  from Valdosta State University. I now reside in Adel with my husband Daniel , and our two daughters. 

After graduating from Valdosta State University in 2008, I began my teaching career teaching 1st grade at Sallas Mahone Elementary in Valdosta.  For the past 10 years, I have taught 3rd grade. This year, I am excited to be teaching Social Studies and Science in 5th grade. I love working in Cook County and especially at CES!
