I began my educational career in Cook County in the year of 1998. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I acquired my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction in 2009 from Georgia Southwestern University. From 1998 through the 2018-2019 school year, I served as a classroom teacher in grades 3, 4, and 5. During those years in the classroom, I served students in various capacities. I've taught in the coteach setting with struggling students as well as gifted students. I have also served as 4th grade PLC chair in Science and Social Studies leading teachers to improve student learning. I am currently the Instructional Coach at Cook Elementary School. I enjoy supportingteachers to help increase student achievement.
