About Mrs. Jayla

Hi! I am Jayla Jackson. I was born and raised in Cook County and am a proud graduate of Cook High School. I continue to call this wonderful community home, where I live with my husband, Blake, and our three amazing children — Paityn, Parker, and Paxton.

Teaching is more than just a profession for me - it's a true passion. I love creating a classroom environment where students feel seen, supported, and inspired. Building meaningful relationships with my students is at the heart of my teaching philosophy, and there is nothing more rewarding than watching them grow, both academically and personally, throughout the school year.
