Bio
Hi! My name is Angela Harry, and I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. I started working for Cook County School District in 1989. While teaching, my colleagues selected me as Teacher of the Year twice (1991 and 2004). I retired in May 2023 after 34 years of teaching. I started back teaching part-time in August 2023. I love math. My goal is to help my students to succeed. One of my greatest joys as a teacher is when former students return and tell me what an impact I have had on their lives. I am married to Charles Harry, Sr. Together we have four children, Kimberly (Keith) Carey, Deneisha Gear, Charles Jr. (Jamere) and Christian Harry. I am also blessed with seven beautiful grandchildren, Karter, Cali, Noble, Kruz, Crew, Koly, and Chai. My Goddaughter, A'liyah Jones, is also special to my heart. I am a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Sparks. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and relishing in the joy of being a grandma.
